She won a few sales competitions and started building some great business relationships when she was promoted to a full time Account Executive in the Season Ticket Sales and Service Department. As an AE Emily's clients ranged from law firms to personal fans. Her portfolio had over 900 season ticket holders.
She appreciated a great working rapport and knowing what her clients valued. It was during this time as a full time sales and service rep she realized she was most passionate about her relationships with her clients, and leveraging her connections to drive new business to grow her Yankees client family. After a year of being an Account Executive Emily was honored with another promotion to the new Retention Team, managing corporate sponsorship and Fortune 500 company accounts such as Metlife, ESPN, and Young & Rubicam. |
Emily's primary focus on the Retention Team was managing full season field level accounts, and building her business relationships to drive revenue. Mainly she sold additional group experiences, and luxury suites to her clients, with a big focus on upselling and negotiating multi-year season ticket agreements with corporate clients.
During her 4 seasons with the Yankees Emily loved interacting with clients and sponsors. She enjoyed organizing and running benefit programs and running events: Player Meet n Greets, On Field Experiences, Youth Clinics, and Private Batting Practices. |
