Emily has been the "funny girl", hunting for laughs since she was a baby. One day when she was 2, her mother came home to find her plopped in front of the news; when she heard her mom she whipped around and did her first impression, "This, is CBS!"
She spent most of her grade school years in winter plays, spring musicals, cabarets and talent shows. She jumped at any opportunity to sing, act or perform- anything involving comedy or music. She spent her High School days playing classical violin, prancing in musicals like 'Cats', and writing sketches parodies with her fellow theater geeks.
She continued performing in college. After playing in and producing 'The Vagina Monologues' her sophomore year at Penn State, she wanted a different kind of challenge.
Emily began marketing for a new club, Second Floor Stand Up. It was her friend Brandon who urged her to take her silliness and put it into her own writing; she began performing in Fraternity/Sorority Shows, and at local bars. When she moved to the city she continued to perform at amateur shows.
She has been seen most recently in Manhattan at Broadway Comedy, New York Comedy, and the Gotham Comedy Club
